The school has 3 Designated Safeguarding Leads who are responsible for the management of Safeguarding cases within the school.

Theresa Smyth and Janet Holt have both completed their safer Recruitment Training. Safeguarding pupils starts with ensuring staff and volunteers have the necessary DBS and clearance checks and induction training.
ALL staff receive training at the start of the academic year and updates are shared throughout the year to ensure practise is reviewed and changes applied where necessary.
The Confidentially Policy ensures that all staff know how to communicate any worries, including low level concerns about another member of staff to the appropriate person.
If a parent has a concern for the welfare of a child they should make a referral to Children's Social Care.
